The Village

Around Kaliko

Bidart is one of the few villages along the coast to have retained its charm: a fronton square, a church, a Saturday morning market, and six beaches along the coastal road. Kaliko is located below the village, on the banks of the Uhabia, where the river meets the ocean. You’re just 200 meters from the beach, which you can reach on foot or by bike via the greenway, without having to take the car.

Biarritz is about ten minutes away, and Saint-Jean-de-Luz is just a little farther. Spain is right nearby: you can cross the border for a day of tapas in Hondarribia or a hike to Pasaia.

Once you arrive

On site

You won’t need your car anymore—you can leave it in our private parking lot, which has 27 spaces. Bicycles and surfboards are stored in a secure room. If you arrive after the front desk closes (3:30 p.m.), a secure key box will allow you to enter freely. Just let us know your arrival time.
