Lunch overlooking the river: Kaliko’s terrace overlooks the Uhabia, 200 meters from Bidart Beach. With seating for about 50, it’s sunny on nice days and shaded by umbrellas—it’s one of the most peaceful terraces on the Basque Coast.
Our chef sources ingredients directly from Basque producers and cooks many of the dishes over an open fire. On weekdays, the daily special is €25 (appetizer, main course, dessert; not available in summer). On Sundays, there’s a set menu for €34 featuring a generous cut of meat to share, with a vegetarian option available. Organic and local wines.
Breakfast is served on the terrace from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with specialty coffee in the afternoon and a drink at the end of the day. Children can play in the garden while they eat. In winter, the air-conditioned dining room and the fireplace take over. Parking is free for restaurant guests.
During the season, open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. During the off-season, open Sunday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
